Beth

Cuddly tan and brown curly-coated dog lying on a wooden pathway, wearing a black harness, surrounded by greenery and a wooden fence.

A counselor shaped by lived experiences, grounded in connection.

HOW IT STARTED
“I didn’t take a traditional path — but I found my purpose along the way.”

As the first in my family to attend college, I began my journey at community colleges, where I discovered a passion for accessible, inclusive care — especially while supporting immigrants and refugees learning English. That experience shaped my belief in the power of empathy, patience, and connection.

HOW I HELP TODAY
Evidence-based. Trauma-informed. Rooted in trust.

I earned my master’s in Community Counseling and became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Over the years, I’ve worked in private practice and as a college counselor — returning to the same types of spaces that gave me my start. Today, I support individuals and couples with tools grounded in the Gottman Method and EMDR, blending proven approaches with warmth and deep listening.

ALWAYS GROWING
Healing is a journey — and so is being a therapist.

As a lifelong learner, I’m committed to growth — bringing new insights, techniques, and curiosity into every session. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s built around your pace and your story.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Fitness, volunteering, and one very lovable therapy dog.

I’m a real person — a mom, a wife in a long-term intercultural marriage, and a transplant from the West Coast. When I’m not working with clients, I stay grounded through high-energy BODYCOMBAT classes (I’m a certified instructor!) and volunteer visits with my therapy dog, Bailey. We love bringing comfort and connection in schools, hospitals, and community events.

Beth creates an environment where I feel comfortable talking about anything, and our conversations can range from discussing heavy topics one minute to laughing out loud the next. I especially appreciate Beth's ability to help me see things from a new perspective, which opens me up to thinking differently about my challenges and how best to address them.
