Welcome to the website of Wrobel Counseling Services, PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this Site. 

1. Informational Use Only

The content on this Site is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes or should be interpreted as medical, psychological, or mental health advice or treatment. 

  • Use of this Site does not create a therapist-client relationship. 

  • Do not rely on any information on this Site as a substitute for professional diagnosis or care. 

  • Always consult a licensed mental health provider for individualized support. 

2. No Emergency or Crisis Services

This Site and our practice do not provide emergency services. If you are in crisis, thinking about hurting yourself or others, or experiencing a mental health emergency: 

  • Call 911 

  • Go to your nearest emergency room 

  • Contact a national or local crisis line (e.g., 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) 

3. Online Therapy and Telehealth Disclaimer

Wrobel Counseling Services, PLLC may offer therapy via secure telehealth platforms. However: 

  • Telehealth services are only available to clients physically located in states where the provider is licensed to practice

  • We do not provide therapy to individuals outside of our licensed jurisdictions, even if they are U.S. citizens or previous clients. 

  • It is your responsibility to confirm your physical location at the time of your appointment and to inform us of any changes in residency or travel that may impact service availability. 

If you attempt to schedule or receive services from a location where your therapist is not licensed, we reserve the right to cancel or decline the session in accordance with state and federal laws. 

4. Jurisdictional Limitations Based on Licensure

Our clinician is licensed in the state of Illinois. 

  • We are only legally authorized to provide mental health services to individuals who are physically present in this state at the time of service. 

  • Services are not available in other states or countries unless licensure reciprocity or telehealth compacts apply. 

This limitation exists to comply with state licensing boards and protect both client and clinician legally and ethically. 

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, graphics, design, and branding — is the exclusive property of Wrobel Counseling Services, PLLC and protected under U.S. copyright and trademark law. 

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from this Site without prior written permission. 

6. User Conduct

By using this Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation. 

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its server. 

  • Use this Site for spam, malware, or any malicious activity.
